Thank you for delivering a thought-provoking session. It was good to see so many staff and Councillors engaging with you during the session, clearly you pitched the session appropriately.

Shobhan met with Town Clerks and myself prior to the proposed training session to gain an understanding of any concerns that may be within the group. He then tailored the presentation to allow opportunities for the participants to reflect on their needs and identify possible gaps in knowledge.

Shobhan was sensitive to the dynamics within the group and encouraged discussion in a nonjudgmental way. It was heartening to hear people acknowledging that despite a preconception that it was not going to be a helpful session because they believed they were already well informed, individuals gained a lot from it.

I would strongly recommend this training to any organisation involved in delivering services to the public.
